What the role is

The candidate will be part of a team which drives public communications and engagement for MPA and Maritime Singapore.

What you will be working on

He/she will strategize, develop and execute a wide range of communication plans and activities to promote Singapore as a premier global hub port and an international maritime centre, and to advance and safeguard Singapore’s strategic maritime interests. These would include conceptualising and executing events and marketing initiatives across multiple touchpoints, both onsite and online.

What we are looking for

The candidate should possess at least two years of experience in the communications field preferably in Marketing, Social Media and/or Public Engagement. He/she must also be a team player who possesses good interpersonal and writing skills and is able to work under tight deadlines.

MPA is the driving force behind Singapore's port and maritime development, taking on the roles of Port Authority, Port Regulator, Port Planner, IMC Champion, and National Maritime Representative. MPA partners the industry and other agencies to enhance safety, security and environmental protection in our port waters, facilitate port operations and growth, expand the cluster of maritime ancillary services, and promote maritime R&D and manpower development."
