What the role is

RPG provides services for the rehabilitation of adult and juvenile offenders and the protection of children and families. We are passionate and committed to making a difference in the lives of these children, youths and families and are looking for like-minded individuals who share the same passion as us to join our dynamic and life-changing team. Description of Division – Prevention and Operations Policy Division (POP) POP is responsible for the overall prevention efforts, strategic planning, operations policy, data management and digital transformation for RPG.

What you will be working on

You will be part of the Prevention Branch in POP to drive RPG’s prevention efforts, to: - prevent the occurrence of domestic violence, problem gambling and youth offending; - pre-empt at-risk individuals and families from entering into RPG’s system; and - protect and rehabilitate RPG clients. This is a greenfield area where you will work closely with Government agencies and external stakeholders, to review, develop and implement strategies to achieve the above objectives of RPG’s prevention efforts. This will entail using a data-driven approach to raise awareness and shape societal norms among the general population, facilitate early detection and intervention for at-risk target and prevent recurrence for in-risk clients.

What we are looking for

Required competencies Education and behavioural competencies - Tertiary education, with keen interest in social issues and engaging diverse sectors. Experience in operations policy and planning will be an advantage. - or stakeholder engagement role - Self-driven, resourceful and adaptable in a dynamic environment - Strong analytical, written and communication skills - Creative and comfortable with sense-making complex landscapes - Can work independently and in partnership with stakeholders Functional competencies - Co-create and co-deliver with external stakeholders - Design for implementation and communication - Strategic planning
