You will be part of the Programmes Implementation team in our Singapore Water Academy Department. The Singapore Water Academy (SgWA) was set up on 15 February 2016 to better equip our PUB workforce with the technical know-how to perform their duties, and build new capability through centrally planned competency based training and development. You will be involved in the following areas of work:

• Plan and implement training programmes to ensure quality delivery of training programmes for PUB officers • Implement and enforce the Academy’s training policies, processes and systems to ensure effective programme delivery benefitting all officers • Update and maintain the Learning Management System to ensure that training records/information are up to date. • Procure the training related products/services on behalf of PUB/Academy in accordance to the stipulated guidelines and procedures. • Organise events/activities such as department workshops, retreat, seminars. • Compile the Academy’s statistics and reports to measure the performance of the Academy which includes training feedback collation. • Manage relationships with internal trainers, external training vendors and external service vendors to ensure consistent programme quality, (e.g. vendor selection, final contract sign-offs, revisions, management of contracts and deliverables, performance evaluation) and recommend actions to be taken to improve the effectiveness of training programmes

• Degree in Business Management/Information Technology or related discipline • Candidates with relevant experience in training and development. • Experience in implementing milestone training and leadership programmes would be an advantage. • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels. • Good analytical and written skills. • Meticulous and able to multi-task well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. • Able to work independently and in a team.
