What the role is

The Corporate Services team underpins the operational effectiveness of NSCS by managing administrative functions, knowledge management, procurement, office infrastructure, and compliance with safety and security protocols. As a member of the team, you will be pivotal in fostering a conducive and productive work environment and ensuring the resilience of organisational operations.

What you will be working on

You will work on administration, procurement, knowledge management, registry, and office facilities management. Your tasks will include: • Working with the IT team to manage officers’ timely access to IT systems and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective NSCS operations • Managing arrangements for international meetings and overseas trips to ensure smooth and productive engagements • Engaging in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) to safeguard organisational interests; executing the mitigating measures • Ensuring a secure, safe, and healthy workplace by managing and implementing security, health, and safety measures. • Managing and executing office upgrades, renovations, and relocations, ensuring safety, budget discipline, and minimal disruption to NSCS operations. • Maintaining and enhancing office facilities to provide a conducive work environment aimed at ensuring officer well-being and productivity.

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in corporate services functions • Experience with administration, facilities maintenance, procurement, contract management, knowledge management, and understanding IT systems. • Driven and self-motivated; able to work independently and efficiently. • Team player, willing to learn. • Proficient at working with multiple stakeholders. • Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong in project management. • Ability to multitask, organise effectively, and adhere to timelines. • Flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and environments.

The National Security Coordination Secretariat’s mission is to build a shared picture of cross-cutting national security risks, and mobilise the multi-agency effort needed to mitigate risks. We work to secure Singapore against risks in any domain that could compromise Singapore’s survival and success. This includes vulnerabilities to disruptions to day-to-day life, social divisions, and coercion to act against our national interest. Such risks impact multiple sectors and require multi-sector responses to effectively mitigate risks to Singapore.
