What the role is
What you will be working on
You will assume a key role in a team and may be required to lead a team to manage architectural design and coordination of high-rise office and transport-related buildings including MRT stations and infrastructures, from conceptualization to construction. You will work with senior management, various divisions, and agencies as well as industry partners in the development and implementation of key architectural initiatives & policies as well as design & construction details that will promote quality architectural design and a sustainable transport environment. You will also be required to write proposal papers, prepare and make presentations, and lead meeting discussions.
Specifically, you will be involved in conceptualisation and implementation of building and station designs, preparation of tender specifications / documentation / design and site management of the architectural aspect of the projects.
What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Architecture
• At least 12 years of relevant working experience in architectural design and practice
• Well-spoken with good writing and presentation skills
• Familiar with codes and standards and submission processes
• Able to lead architectural issues in a multi-disciplinary discussion and manage a team effectively
• Able to think strategically, work independently and grasp complex issues swiftly
• Excellent knowledge of presentation software and programs
• Proficient in CAD / BIM drafting capability
• Experience in both rail and building projects will be an advantage
• Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles
