The Assurance, Care and Engagement Group (ACE), a permanent division under the Ministry of Manpower, improves the well-being of migrant workers by enhancing the healthcare, housing and social aspects of the migrant worker landscape. The Care Policy branch of the Medical Policy Department under ACE Group formulates, implements and reviews preventive healthcare policies relating to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and common infectious diseases among migrant workers (MWs). You will work closely with departments within ACE group and various stakeholders to build a supportive health ecosystem for migrant workers.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Develop health-related preventive and care policies covering both communicable and non-communicable diseases or conditions, including the development and/or curation of health education and training curriculum and materials for migrant workers in dormitories
• Partner stakeholders such as Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and other agencies in health education, health programmes implementation and training efforts, as well as to ensure systems integration to ensure appropriate continuity of care.
• Prepare proposals to secure resources for implementation of approved policies and plans
• Conduct reviews and evaluation on implemented policies and programmes
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification, background in healthcare will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience policy writing, planning will be an advantage
