What the role is
What you will be working on
Stay abreast of the enterprise financing landscape in Singapore to identify potential market gaps.
Review and enhance the current tools supporting enterprise debt financing administered by Enterprise Singapore, and develop & operationalise new ones to address emerging market gaps.
Design and review relevant policy guidelines for the debt financing schemes, including pricing, legal framework (i.e. Risk Participation Agreements) and Operational Guides (for new / enhanced schemes).
Engage and build relationship with global Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and stay updated on their products, initiatives and interests to benchmark and improve Singapore’s financing tools.
What we are looking for
Studies in Business, Economics or Finance.
At least 5-6 years of relevant work experiences with the financial industry, such as banks, multilateral development banks, export credit agencies and other financial institutions (e.g. private debt financiers). Experiences in product development and insurance underwriting would be a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Experiences with data tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus.
Applicants will also be evaluated on their experience and interest to contribute to the public sector in an enterprise development role. You must be comfortable with writing up memos, policy papers and developing cohesive presentation slides.
