What the role is

Leadership Development Group (LD) in PSD helms leadership development policies, operations, partnerships and engagement, covering Senior Leaders, the Administrative Service and the Public Service Leadership Programme to achieve the following key outcomes:
• Effective and high-performing leaders and leadership teams that deliver with excellence today and innovate to be future-ready
• A Public Service leadership corps with diverse experiences, skillsets, and perspectives
• One Public Service leadership with a common purpose, identity, and values
The Office of Leadership Innovation (OLI) is part of LD and focuses on driving innovation in leadership and talent development at the Public Service level. We incorporate leadership science and data-driven practices in leadership development, from the identification of emerging leaders to the development of senior public service leaders. We work in close partnership with the Civil Service College (CSC), the HR community, and leaders across the Public Service.
What you will be working on
[Specific Job Responsibilities]
• Leads the Governance and Systems team in OLI responsible for the Public Service Leadership Competency Frameworks (LCFs), which entails:
o Setting and refining the policies, processes and systems for the use of the LCF and LCF 360 data
o Driving the implementation of LCF 360 feedback exercises in the Public Service, and coordinating with other OLI teams to perform leadership analytics
o Planning and facilitating the capability development of agency HR to effectively adopt science- and data-based leadership development practices
• Develops OLI’s strategy and workplan, with clear success metrics and a monitoring and reporting system to track outcomes.
• Oversees the development and implementation of OLI’s product roadmap.
• Manages resource allocation by planning and coordinating team manpower requirements and budget utilisation.
• Collaborates with the LD policy teams to ensure alignment and integration in leadership development approaches.
• Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance leadership science.
