The key imperative of the role is to strengthen the coordination and synergies across division-led communications efforts to gain public trust and ensure alignment to MOM’s overall brand strategy and guidelines though increased central oversight.

What you will be working on
What you will be working on:
• Act as the primary liaison for the Communications and Engagement (C&E) Horizontal Workgroup, which is made up of representatives from MOM divisions.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive work plan.
• Schedule and facilitate Quarterly Comms Forums and other meetings, ensuring agendas, minutes, and follow-ups are managed efficiently.
• Design and implement strategic communication plans aligned with MOM objectives.
• Consolidate data and feedback to enhance communication approaches.
• Identify and address gaps in communications approaches, e.g. distribution of efforts and resources might not be consistent with MOM’s overarching priorities /there may be missed opportunities for alignment and synergies in messaging to stakeholders/inconsistencies in the quality and tone of communications.
• Ensure strategic alignment with MOM’s broader objectives and narratives by aligning public messaging with MOM’s mission and vision on earned, paid and social media.
• Use data-driven insights to address public concerns and misperceptions, analytics and feedback to refine comms strategies.
• Consolidate procurement requirements at a whole-of-MOM level to further optimize spending
What we are looking for
What we are looking for:
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in corporate communications, marketing and digital communications or equivalent
• Experience in public communications is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to identify focus areas, interpret data, influence, negotiate and implement public communications strategies / tactics
• Possess strong written and spoken communications skills
• Good project management skills with ability to multi-task and deliver good outcomes under pressure and fast-changing conditions
• Committed and energetic team player
• Resourceful and able to respond quickly and effectively to dynamic and sensitive situations
