Drug abuse is a worsening global problem that harms millions of people. It destroys individuals, destabilises families and disrupts the workforce. CNB’s new DrugFreeSG Office is responsible for driving our community engagement and education efforts through preventive drug education, content development and training, outreach campaigns and community partnership. As members of the DrugFreeSG Office, we work closely with colleagues in the wider civil service, community partners and volunteer advocates to amplify the drug-free message via government, community and media networks and platforms to mobilise the public to support and participate in the DrugFreeSG cause. Some of our key initiatives and campaigns include the DrugFreeSG “Uninfluenced” media campaign, the DrugFreeSG Champions initiative, the DrugFreeSG Advocacy Network, the Drug Victims Remembrance Day campaign and the Dadah Itu Haram campaign. We are looking for someone who shares our passion and vision in a DrugFreeSG to join our partnership and outreach teams pushing for greater community awareness and support for a drug-free Singapore.

The scope of work includes: • Developing outreach programmes to sustainably engage key target audience segments like students and interest-based communities to develop an understanding of the drug issue today • Working with key stakeholders to rally support for the DrugFreeSG cause, particularly in relation to the demonstration of a united national stance against drugs e.g., in commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking – known as ‘World Drug Day’ • Assisting in various outreach and partnership efforts of the DrugFreeSG Office, which includes public communications, project management of campaigns, events and community roadshows, as well as other administrative functions in relation to the team’s day-to-day work.
