What the role is
What you will be working on
The incumbent will work closely with the Team Lead and various stakeholders for the implementation, monitoring & evaluation of SportSG Frailty Prevention Programme - Adaptive Sports and other initiatives to help vulnerable seniors stay active and socially connected in our community and have fun whilst improving their overall health and well-being, in line with SportCares/SportSG vision and mission to change lives through sport.
Roles & Responsibilities :
• To implement and operationalise the equipping and training for adaptive sports under FPP, including stakeholder and project management.
• To manage the overall design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation of the adaptive sports programme.
• To manage the adaptive sports trainings and try-outs.
• To develop and report indicators and measures to provide evidence on the effectiveness of programmes / initiatives.
• To design and develop new adaptive sports programme.
• To establish and maintain strong relationship with new/existing stakeholders in the relevant sectors to increase the depth and breadth of outreach.
• To implement initiatives to impact the lives of vulnerable seniors.
• To management of suppliers/vendors and trainers to ensure the programme’s logistical and training needs are met.
• To manage the programme’s procurement in alignment with the approved budget and timeline set.
• To evaluate suppliers/vendors, products and services, and ensuring that purchases are conducted as per the WOG procurement guidelines.
• To manage the supplier/vendor relationship and performance.
• To collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance and Procurement to ensure availability of fund and prudency of procurement.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.
This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• At least 5 years of proven experience and/ track record in relevant areas, e.g. Senior/Community Care Sector, Programme Development and Coordination, Community Engagement and Outreach
• Passion for sports
• Good interpersonal skills to manage and lead people of diverse backgrounds and different positions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated and Independent.
• Good organisational, management and administrative skills.
• Is empathetic
• Value teamwork to achieve common goals.
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a Fixed Term contract in the first instance.
