What the role is

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore’s planning authority. Our mission is to make Singapore a great city to live, work and play. HR is responsible for making sure URA is able to attract, develop and retain the best people to carry out our mission. A key part of this is good employee communications - we need to convey our goals, values, guidelines and initiatives effectively to the internal audience.

What you will be working on

The internship will focus on staff communications and projects in relation to this - you will adopt the best principles of change management and learn how to craft communications for the rollout of initiatives and how to best convey internal policies in a manner that encourages and facilitates adoption. [Learning Outcomes] You will acquire: - a good foundational understanding of HR in the Singapore Public Service, specifically in the areas of Employee Engagement and Employee Welfare - experience tailoring communications to the operating environment

What we are looking for

- Students from HR / Business / Communications related courses. - Internship Period: Aug 2025 - Dec 2025 / Sep 2025 - Jan 2026. Please state your availability in your application, including your specific start and end date. - Familiarity with AI Chat Bot tools and a basic understanding of Singapore's labour laws and practices will be an asset.
