What the role is

We aim to build a cohesive and resilient society, deepening the sense of national identity and affinity for Singapore through strengthening community bonds, promoting of the arts and heritage, youth engagement, sports development, volunteerism and philanthropy. As an experienced Personal Assistant, you will provide secretarial and executive support to MCCY Political Office Holder (POH).

What you will be working on

Your responsibilities include working closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the principal's schedule, handle calls and correspondence, respond to public queries, prepare reports, presentations, and meeting agendas. You will also coordinate travel arrangements and provide end-to-end administrative and logistical support for specific events and stakeholder engagements. You will also take on other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the principal.

What we are looking for

Work Experience At least 5 years of relevant experience in a secretarial capacity supporting the senior management of organisation, preferably in the Public Service. Competencies Demonstrated the following competencies: Secretariat Support Perform secretarial functions and provide administrative support for key stakeholders. This includes coordinating and scheduling events and meetings, managing overall logistics, preparing meeting documents and briefs, and drafting clear correspondence and email responses. Administration Management • Plan, prioritise and perform different administrative and business support tasks based on their degree of complexity and level of urgency. • Liaise with various stakeholders in person, via phone, email and other written correspondence to understand needs, prioritise requests and suggest appropriate administrative support Traits • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders in a professional manner. • Meticulous and able to organise, coordinate and multi-task. • Proactive, with the ability to take initiative in supporting the principal with work and appointment prioritisation. • Proficient in digital tools and Microsoft Office applications. ** Shortlisted applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
