The Government Digital Product (GDP) Team spearheads the digital transformation of government. We are a team of technologists in GovTech that design and develop software applications that help government agencies better serve the needs of Singaporeans. We adopt an Agile development approach and work towards adopting tech best practices and cutting edge tools. Our team in GDP aims to improve lives by empowering change with the right technologies and better user experience. This role sits with the Digital Society Products (DSP) division as a member of the discovery team working on Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth (MCCY) Projects. The office is located at Eclipse Building (previously known as Sandcrawler).
We’re hiring a Senior / UX Designer to work closely with Product Manager and Tech Lead in a triad model to design digital services that work—both for citizens and the public officers who deliver them. This will be a position with the discovery team supporting the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth (MCCY) in discovery and inception.
You’ll uncover and design solutions that span citizen-facing platforms and internal government systems, helping teams see the whole picture and deliver meaningful change. This is a hands-on individual contributor role ideal for someone who’s confident in both research and design, thrives on collaboration, and has a bias towards action.

Plan and lead user research, usability testing, and service blueprinting to uncover needs and pain points across platforms
Translate insights into actionable artefacts—journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows

Apply a product mindset: balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility

Engage external agencies, users, and stakeholders with empathy and clarity
Advocate for and apply accessibility standards, inclusive design, and design system components
Contribute to a shared culture of design by collaborating with other designers across teams
