What the role is
What you will be working on
As a Senior Executive in Business Planning & Management Branch of ASPD, you will complement the Manager/Assistant Manager to ensure that the department’s operations align with Whole-of-Government (WOG) policies and guidelines. You will also facilitate cross-branch collaboration within ASPD and with other NEA divisions. Key responsibilities include:
Procurement and Contract Administration:
- Assist in updating, monitoring, and renewing of contracts to ensure compliance and continuity.
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, support tender preparation, conduct briefings, and evaluate tenders for vendor appointment.
- Administer contracts to help user departments adhere to specifications and manage vendor performance.
Office Space and Tenancies Management:
- Contribute to office space planning initiatives by collaborating across NEA, managing data updates, and delivering key insights for informed decisions.
- Support the monitoring, execution, and administration of tenancy agreements, ensuring alignment with WOG guidelines.
- Process and manage e-invoices under the department’s purview.
What we are looking for
Experience & Skills:
- At least 1–2 years of experience in administration, procurement, or related fields requiring planning and writing skills.
- Familiarity with procurement frameworks, including the Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement, GeBIZ, and GeBIZ Management Console (GMC).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in learning and applying new concepts.
- Excellent written communication, able to structure, categorize, and articulate ideas clearly.
- Adaptable to both desk-bound and operational tasks.
- Meticulous, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Independent, resourceful, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
