What you will be working on

Responsibilities As part of the HR Directorate, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of HR policies and practices that contributes towards assuring Singapore Customs as an Employer of Choice. The HR Directorate comprises HR Management Branch, HR Development Branch, HR Planning Branch and Learning & Organisation Development Branch. The job of a Management Executive (HR) may entail, but not limited to, the following duties: i) Attracting, developing, engaging and retaining talent; ii) Developing and continually refreshing Singapore Customs’ strategic workforce plans to ensure that the department has the right mix of talent and competencies, the right organisation structure and the right employment model; and iii) Conducting organisation diagnosis to strategize, design, develop and execute interventions at different levels to drive and facilitate change for organisational development. About Singapore Customs

Singapore Customs is a government agency under the Ministry of Finance. Re-constituted on 1 April 2003, Singapore Customs is the lead agency on trade facilitation and revenue enforcement matters. It is also responsible for the implementation of customs and trade enforcement measures including those related to Free Trade Agreements and strategic goods.
