What you will be working on
In this role, you will shape urban transport spaces by leading outreach, placemaking, and community engagement projects. Collaborating with planners, designers, and stakeholders, you will develop strategies to enhance commuter experiences and create vibrant public spaces. Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and execute outreach, placemaking and community engagement events and projects, focusing on public transport urban spaces and infrastructure. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage target audiences through social media, public events, and publicity campaigns. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including urban planners, landscape architects, and local stakeholders, on integrated planning, user experience design, and public engagement strategies to ensure project success and enhance the commuter experience. Design and create visually appealing graphic assets & marketing materials, event signage, and promotional content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva.
What we are looking for
Knowledge in any discipline, preferably in social science, architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, event management, placemaking, or public outreach are encouraged to apply.
Background in design (Spatial, Product, Digital, etc), Communications, Marketing, Urban Planning, or related fields would be beneficial
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
Experience working with Canva and basic web design and video editing is a plus for workshops, microsites, and public engagement platforms
Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for consistency, color, and typography
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate and facilitate events, workshops, and public engagement sessions, ensuring meaningful stakeholder participation.
Proficiency in applying user-centered design principles, with a focus on empathy-driven research to understand commuter needs and enhance the transport experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field.
Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for design and innovation in transport infrastructure.
A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work, event planning projects, or placemaking initiatives.
