What you will be working on

Responsibilities: Co-led by Sport Singapore and Singapore Sports School (SSP), you will be part of a journey to support the vision for the next bound to build new capabilities for high performance sport and better integrate our programmes/policies to strengthen support for youth to senior athletes, and youth-to-senior transition. In this role, you will drive long-term strategic capability development across Singapore's High Performance Sport (HPS) ecosystem, building organisational excellence and professional competencies for all stakeholders that consistently deliver world-class sporting performance. • Develop comprehensive capability enhancement strategies including workforce planning, succession planning, and development programmes across organisational levels and HPS ecosystem. • Work with senior leadership and HR teams to identify critical skill gaps and design targeted interventions addressing current and future strategic requirements for the entire high performance sport ecosystem. • Create competency-based development frameworks, establish leadership development programmes, design career pathways, and implement assessment tools for continuous capability enhancement across all stakeholders in the ecosystem. • Build strategic partnerships with educational institutions, international sporting bodies, and industry experts to access best practices in capability development. • Monitor and evaluate capability building initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimise competency development programmes for maximum impact on sporting excellence outcomes across the high performance sport ecosystem.

What we are looking for

Requirements: We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. The ideal candidate should possess the following: • Background in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Management, or related field • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in capability development, talent management, and/or organisational development • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing development programmes and competency frameworks • Knowledge of organisational development and change theories and practices • Strong analytical skills including skills gap analysis, organisational capability assessments, and proficiency in data analysis tools for workforce analytics and programme evaluation • Excellent project management, facilitation, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders Only shortlisted applicants will be notified. The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract in the first instance.
