The MOM Academy (MOMA) drives the learning and development initiatives in MOM to support the Ministry’s business strategies and outcomes. The Academy focuses on providing quality learning and development solutions to MOM officers to support officers’ professional development and enable them to be competent in their present and future roles. This is achieved through MOM Training Management System, data-driven monitoring tools and automated processes that streamline learning administration and delivery. These systems work in tandem with comprehensive professional development roadmaps which are aligned to MOM’s business needs and competencies framework.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Incumbent will be involved in the following:
• Training administration and logistics which include managing end-to-end course scheduling and coordination, registration and attendance tracking, and administrative support for training sessions.
• Communication and publicity which include developing and implementing communication strategies to promote learning initiatives, creating engaging programme content for publicity, and managing internal communications channels.
• Culture development which includes organizing events and activities that promotes continuous learning, implementing initiatives to encourage self-directed learning, as well as supporting the development of a growth mindset in MOM.
• Management of Civil Service wide e-learning platform (i.e. LEARN) which includes monitoring participation and completion rates for e-learning modules, generating regular reports on e-learning metrics and identifying ways to improve learning engagement.
What we are looking for
• At least 3 years of working experience in learning & development or related field, although fresh graduates may apply
• Familiar with competency-based learning and development is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Must be able to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor.
• Knowledge of digital communication channels and social media platforms.
• Highly proficient in MS Office suite
• Experience in Learning management systems, development of e-learning solutions and courseware an added advantage
