You are responsible for providing accurate and timely analysis on the strategic interests and related developments on the country-of-interest in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

- Conduct research on security developments - Support bilateral and multilateral defence engagements - Produce and present findings to military leaders and relevant stakeholders - Support branch workplan and expertise development - Strategise military-to-military engagement needs - Maintain oversight of strategic thinking Challenge(s) - Appraising complex, evolving issues quickly and effectively - Synthesising large amounts of information into coherent assessments for non-specialist stakeholders

- Education in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies or related field - At least 6 years of relevant experience - Relevant knowledge of countries of interest - Good command of English language and strong writing skills - Aptitude for languages - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Comfortable to work in a team or independently - Ability to explore and identify new areas of research relevant - Interest and knowledge on current political and defence developments, and their implications to the country-of-interest and the international order - Interest in defence and military affairs, history, with a focus on Asia Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
