What the role is

The School of Business Management is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our team as a lecturer in the areas of Customer Experience & Relationship Management (CXRM) and/or Marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business, with at least five years of relevant industry experience in fields such as customer experience design, customer relationship management, behavioural analytics, or marketing.

In this role, you will design and deliver learning units for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes. You will also collaborate closely with industry partners to co-create authentic learning experiences, such as guest lectures, internships and real-world projects.

Beyond classroom teaching, you will play an active role in mentoring learners, supporting their holistic development, and contributing to school-wide activities and initiatives. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a learner-centric mindset and a commitment to applied and experiential learning.

What you will be working on

  • Design and deliver diploma-level lectures and tutorials for pre-employment training (PET) and continuing education and training (CET) programs. Utilise diverse teaching methodologies, including lectures, seminars, tutorials, and E-Learning, to cater to varied learning styles;

  • Leverage technology such as digital content creation, curation, and analytics, to prepare learners for the evolving customer experience and marketing landscape;

  • Implement industry-based assignments that simulate real-world scenarios in areas such as customer experience design, customer psychology and analytics, service design and delivery, and marketing;

  • Foster strong relationships with industry partners and professional bodies to stay abreast of current trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in CXRM and/or MarTech;

  • Collaborate with these partners to create opportunities for internships, guest lectures, and industry projects;

  • Undertake and manage industry projects in customer experience design, service management and/or marketing utilising customer analytics and psychological insights to enhance outcomes;

  • Plan, coordinate and implement events, seminars, immersion trips, alumni and other student activities such as webinar and career fair, study trip;

  • Develop and guide learners in their holistic development and provide pastoral care and career guidance;

  • Coach and provide guidance to learners during their internship.

What we are looking for

Relevant qualification in business, communications or journalism

At least 5 year(s) of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas in Singapore:

  • Customer Experience Design

  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Consumer Insights & Behavioural Analytics

  • Marketing

Strong communications and good interpersonal skills, with ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.

As this is an applied training environment, hands-on and field experience in relevant areas as well as willingness and ability to coach youths and adult learners in the field is a must.
