What the role is
What you will be working on
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager to lead our Audit & Compliance and Maintenance Planning teams. The ideal candidate will oversee regulatory adherence and operational planning, ensuring efficiency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across both functions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing regulatory compliance in bus maintenance and operator management, including incident and accident investigations, to ensure adherence to industry standards and internal policies;
2. Managing bus suppliers and supporting bus workshop safety frameworks to uphold safety and performance requirements;
3. Supporting bus asset procurement activities during pre-tender, transition, and post-award phases, including inspections for pre-delivery and asset replacements;
4. Managing maintenance data through BMMS and IT systems to support effective decision-making and operational efficiency;
5. Leading maintenance planning activities including bus inventory and resource management, component lifespan analysis, and supply chain planning for buses and related parts;
6. Driving asset management governance initiatives aligned with ISO 55001 and other applicable ISO standards to ensure long-term asset reliability and compliance; and
7. Supporting LTA’s business continuity planning for Bus Assets (BA) core functions and maintaining BA’s knowledge repository as the ERA custodian.
What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in automotive technology industry, with expertise in bus systems, service and maintenance
• Familiar with hybrid / electric vehicles topologies is advantageous
• Experience in the public bus or related industry, as well as proficiency in data analytics, is a plus
• Strong analytical, planning, execution and problems solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for details and a strong IT proficiency
• Proactive, highly motivated, and capable of working independently
