The Smart Nation Group – Digital Government (SNDG), under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and administratively managed by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI), plans and prioritizes key Smart Nation and digital government projects, raises the standards of Government ICT and services, builds long-term capabilities for the public sector, and promotes adoption and participation in digital and smart innovations. It takes a whole-of-nation effort, and we will actively engage the public, the industry and fellow agencies as we build a Smart Nation together.
This three-month internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop a policy framework and platform that tracks the performance of digital products across the whole of government. The role involves automatically collecting data on products' North Star metrics and costs, and monitoring their relative improvement over time.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Project Objectives:
• Validate the technical feasibility of the platform in automatically collecting metric data from product teams.
• Validate that the availability of metric data on the platform leads to better product performance.
• Validate that policy framework to incentivise metric tracking leads to better product performance.
• Develop a self-help tool for product teams to submit accurate and appropriate metric data.
Expected Deliverables:
• Support the operationalisation of an automated platform for all products within 1 agency and establish mechanism to measure its success.
• Support the design of a policy framework to incentivise metric tracking and establish mechanism to measure its success.
• Support the development of a self-help tool to help product teams self-assess the appropriateness of their metrics for submission to the automated platform
