• You will be responsible for formulating and reviewing policies and initiatives, developing policy-ops frameworks and implementation approaches to help Singaporeans achieve a more secure retirement.
• You will oversee the implementation, reviews and policy-ops for a complex suite of policies and schemes that aim to strengthen retirement adequacy for Singaporeans, such as the Workfare Income Supplement and Silver Support Scheme. This will include public communications and responding to public feedback on support schemes.
• This role requires you to work closely with stakeholders across the Government such as the CPF Board and the Ministry of Finance.
• Through this position, you will pick up the knowledge and skills to become an effective policy officer in the social policy domain, and gain experience in reviewing and implementing policies, public communications and service delivery.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Formulate, review and implement Retirement Systems policies and initiatives.
• Develop policy-ops frameworks for Retirement Systems policies.
• Work closely with stakeholders from other divisions/organisations to review and implement policies and initiatives, and overcome implementation challenges.
• Analyse data and information to inform policy formulation and evaluate the impact of policies and initiatives.
• Handle complex appeal cases.
What we are looking for
• At least 2 to 3 years of policy experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Experience in quantitative analysis, modelling and assessment of financial risks will be an advantage.
• Good communicator with strong inter-personal and leadership skills who can forge effective partnerships with stakeholders.
• Ability to exercise both empathy and firmness when managing complex appeal cases.
• Meticulous in work, especially when analysing information and checking against guidelines and criteria.
• Creativity and willingness to innovate.
