What the role is

The goal of Family Life Group (FLG) is to nurture a family-friendly society by strengthening family resilience through all stages of life, and to support families to overcome early risks and challenges to family relationships. The Operations Planning & Transformation (OPT) Division is responsible for developing the overall operational plans to strengthen and support family through all stages of life. It also oversees transformation, data and digitalisation, capability development and engagement strategies for FLG.

What you will be working on

Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will be part of the Family Data and Analytics (FDA) Branch that oversees data projects, data management, data governance and analytics of family information. You are to ensure the timely delivery of Family Status Repository (FSR) 2.0 project, and its enhancement thereafter. You are to handle the different facets of a project, making sure they are coordinated and implemented as per project timeline. You are required to oversee and manages FSR data and its business rules, thus serving quality data to our customers. Your stakeholders are IT division, Data Governance Office and Development team. 1. Project Management and Delivery • Manage and lead FSR 2.0 project implementation • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones within agreed scope and quality parameters • Track project progress, oversee budget, manage risks and issues, and escalate where appropriate • Prepare and maintain project documentation including status reports and delivery roadmaps • Lead, coordinate and draft the submission of branch projects 2. Stakeholder Management • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather and refine requirements • Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and manage expectations • Work with product owners to validate and sign off on deliverables • Maintain effective communication channels across all project stakeholders including regular update to senior management 3. Agile Delivery • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective sessions • Manage and prioritise product backlog in consultation with product owner • Monitor sprint velocity and team performance metrics 4. Process Improvement • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes • Gather and incorporate user feedback into future sprint planning • Participate in identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency

What we are looking for

• Background in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in data-related projects • Professional certifications such as PMI-ACP and Scrum CSM or PSM • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools • Experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Ability to perform SQL scripting and Python programming • Team player who can engage with various levels of stakeholders • Highly motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills • Able to conceptualise quickly, multi-task and work under pressure • Comfortable in managing multiple assignments of various stages concurrently • Strong problem-solving disposition, analytical mindset and good cognitive skills and creativity to deliver logical and efficient product implementation
