What the role is

Description of Group - Family Life Group (FLG): We want families to realize their hopes and aspirations. Description of Division - Family Support Division (FSP): We focus on providing a continuum of support for mainstream and early-risk families in the areas of marriage, divorce and family counselling support. Brief description of Job Scope: This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in digital transformation while contributing to the enhancement of family support services in Singapore. As part of the Special Projects team at FSP, you will support the development and implementation of the digital services roadmap for family support services in Singapore. You will familiarise with digitisation initiatives across government agencies, social service agencies (SSAs), and other relevant agencies, so as to propose synergies for collaboration, and shape practice and regulatory standards in the delivery of digital support services. You will also engage partners from SSAs and the private sector, as well as service users, to test new digital solutions in supporting stressed families. On a day-to-day basis, you will facilitate the progress of various workstreams in the roadmap, review digitisation projects, and work with multiple stakeholders to ensure a smooth digitalisation journey.

What you will be working on

• Support the development of a digital services roadmap for family support services • Coordinate with relevant government agencies and SSAs to understand their digitalisation needs and align implementation plans • Involve MSF officers and partners to co-manage various workstreams, and facilitate smooth progress of the workstreams • Engage stakeholders and service users to gather feedback, identify challenges, and co-create solutions in their digitalisation journey • Monitor and track multiple workstreams and provide timely updates to key stakeholders • Support evaluation of digitisation projects, including assessing the effectiveness on clients’ outcomes and process efficiency • Assist in preparing resource proposals and documentation to support digital initiatives • Compile and prepare regular progress updates to MSF senior management • Provide secretariat support for meetings with internal and external stakeholders

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders • Good problem solving and system thinking skills • Strong project coordination and organisational skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Team player who is willing to commit to a fast paced albeit fulfilling work • Keen interest in technology and digital transformation • Familiarity with the social service sector in Singapore would be an advantage
