What the role is

What you will be working on

Project Description:

As a grant-maker committed to creating positive social change, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to enhance our EFR scheme's effectiveness. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how we communicate with and support our stakeholders while deriving meaningful insights from our data. You will gain hands-on experience in content optimisation, marketing strategy, and data analysis, with mentorship to help you refine your skills in these areas. If you are passionate about clear communication, enjoy working with data, and want to contribute to making our grant processes more accessible and effective, this internship is for you. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and optimise EFR content for web publication, ensuring clarity, accessibility and engagement

  • Develop creative marketing approaches to increase awareness and reach of our grant scheme

  • Analyse EFR data to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights

  • Present data findings through clear visualisations and reports

  • Support the reorganisation of digital and physical files to improve information retrieval

  • Assist in developing an efficient filing system structure

  • Other duties as assigned

Project Deliverables:

  • Revised EFR content optimised for web platforms

  • Recommendations to improve scheme outreach

  • Data analysis report with survey insights and recommendations

  • Structured filing system with clear organisation guidelines

What we are looking for

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics or related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Keen eye for detail and ability to present information clearly

  • Creative mindset with strong organisational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Learning Outcomes:

The intern will gain experience in:

  • Content development and digital marketing strategies

  • Data analysis and insight generation

  • Information management and organisation

  • Project management and stakeholder communication

  • Understanding of grant-making processes and impact

About Tote Board

Established in 1988, Tote Board (Singapore Totalisator Board) is a statutory board of the Ministry of Finance.
