You will be supporting the Division in managing and enhancing the patient safety framework, ensuring robust incident review processes and driving patient safety and quality improvement initiatives in healthcare institutions. This includes overseeing the national Serious Reportable Events (SRE) reporting system, coordinating with healthcare institutions on incident investigations, and contributing to the development of safer healthcare systems.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Lead the review and management of patient safety incidents, including evaluation of root cause analyses and implementation of improvement frameworks
• Develop and refine national-level incident reporting processes, working closely with healthcare clusters and institutions to enhance patient safety systems
• Drive data analytics and prepare strategic reports to guide policy decisions and support continuous improvement in healthcare safety
• Lead strategic patient safety initiatives and large-scale projects, including stakeholder engagement forums, expansion of reporting frameworks to new healthcare sectors, and system enhancement programmes
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare institutions and relevant stakeholders to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement in patient safety
