What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for is responsible for evaluating and grading jobs across the organization to ensure internal equity. The ideal candidate should have background in job evaluation methodologies and job analysis.
• Conduct job analysis and evaluation for new and existing roles using established job grading methodologies.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions in collaboration with Division.
• Ensure consistency and fairness in grading across all departments.
• Benchmark roles against other Ministries and internal structures.
• Support HR business partners with job leveling, career pathing, and organizational design.
• Document and maintain job grading procedures and results.
• Engage agencies in reviewing and refining job grading structures.
You will also the opportunity to work in teams to drive strategic HR in other HR projects and initiative as required.
What we are looking for
Work Experience and Knowledge
• Relevant HR working experience with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in job evaluation. Experience in Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Competencies
Demonstrated the following competencies:
1. Organisation Design:
• Ability to advise stakeholders on job design and apply appropriate job grading methodologies to ascertain job grades within the organisation structure.
• Familiarity with established job evaluation methodologies in civil service.
2. Strategic Workforce Planning (Advantage):
• Ability to analyse and plan job structural needs and forecasting headcount and job level to meet future workforce needs
• Guiding the organisation through changes in the workforce structure. This includes communicating changes effectively, managing resistance and ensuring a smooth transition.
• Effectively communicating workforce plans to various stakeholders.
Behaviour Traits
• Critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.

This is a one-year contract role dedicated to the job grading project.
