The School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) is part of the Engineering cluster in SP and takes the lead in educating engineering technologists to support the nation’s growth and development.
Reporting to the Project Leader, the appointee will part of the project team in the 5G & AIoT Centre. The 5G & AIoT centre collaborates with SMEs to promote 5G innovations in businesses, focusing on low latency, centralised monitoring, intelligent control, and data analysis. The centre aims to grow Singapore's 5G ecosystem and encourage businesses to use AIoT technology in digital transformation.
Research Engineer
The appointee will work with the Academic Research staff to conduct R&D in the areas of software-defined radios (SDRs) and cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) communications for public safety applications.
The appointee will be involved in the programming/implementation of SDR applications (including PHY/MAC layer algorithms) and design/integration with other embedded hardware (e.g. C-V2X modules, routers, gateways, etc.) to connections with software cloud platforms. He/She will be expected to support various administrative tasks, which includes dealing with procurement, coordinating and assisting Project Leader in various aspects of the project.
