You will play a part in the comprehensive maintenance of Instrumentation & Control and SCADA equipment in the Department to ensure that they are reliable, resilient and efficient at all times. Experience in network equipment and cybersecurity knowledge will be an advantage. This role may require you to be called back after working hours should the need arises.

Your duties include: • Perform calibration of instruments such as the level sensors, pressure sensors, electromagnetic flowmeters. • Supervise scheduled preventive maintenance of the Instrumentation & Control equipment in the pumping stations and tidal gate installations. • Familiar with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and its components such as Remote Terminal Units and network equipment. Maintenance location includes the raw water pumping stations, pond stations, tidal gates and drainage pumping stations. • Maintain SCADA systems to comply with cybersecurity requirement such as patching of computer software, hardening of operating system and network administration. • Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers and communications network. Familiar with communications protocol such as MODBUS protocol. Able to read Electrical Single Line Diagram and control drawings. • Attend to breakdown of Instruments and SCADA equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults. • Supervise Instrumentation & Control and SCADA projects. Able to communicate well and familiar with simple technical acronyms. • Perform administrative work. Use of office software to procure materials and services.

• Diploma in Engineering Informatics, Computer Network & Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent. • Network Certification such as Cisco Certified Network (CCNA), Netgain Certified Professional (NCP), Huawei Certified ICT Professional or equivalent would be advantageous. • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience. • Candidate with Class 2 and/or 3 license is preferred.
