About Outward Bound Singapore - a division of NYC Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) is a member of Outward Bound International - a global network of Outward Bound schools operating in 34 countries. Established in 1967, OBS is recognised for its leading experience in outdoor education, with more than 500,000 people trained. As a national training institution, we aim to develop mentally and physically rugged youths to be active citizens inspired to serve the community. You will be part of Operation Management, a unit responsible for managing the operations rooms and coordinating operations across all OBS campus and activity areas. The operations room is the nerve centre coordinating OBS’s key resources such as manpower, facilities, and logistics. The unit staffs the key duty personnels responsible for manning the OBS Operations Room and supervising the smooth running of OBS programme operations.

This is a one-year contract position. Skills and Knowledge: • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Operations and Incident Management. • Working experience in the outdoor education industry will be an advantage. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Independent and resourceful. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders from public, private, and people sectors to co-develop solutions: - Continuously acquire new skills, innovate, and pursue operations / system improvements. - Adaptable to ambiguity and quick to adjust to changes. - Strong team player • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
