What the role is
What you will be working on
The incumbent will execute the smooth running of Active Health planning and budgeting cycles and milestone projects, including collaborations with key industry and healthcare partners, both local and overseas. He/She supports the capability development of Active Health, including upskilling of industry multipliers and leveraging technology to improve and scale operations. He/She analyses data and monitors latest research and insights to develop and recommend shifts in the AH strategy. He/She manages stakeholder relations in strengthening Active Health’s footprint through infusion of sport and exercise science design in community spaces to promote positive behavioural change i.e., Health District and Sports-in-Precinct spaces.
Roles & Responsibilities :
• To implement effective plans to align annual Active Health vision and workplan with SportSG strategic plans and overall corporate direction, long term outcomes and Vision 2030 narratives.
• To collaborate with Active Health Engagement and Programme Development & Design (PDD) Team Leads and other internal teams to execute relevant streams of work based on workplans and monitor implementation.
• To maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and industry players to enable citizens to embark on their health and wellness journey through an evidence-based approach.
• To strengthen the Active Health footprint through infusion of sport and exercise science design in community spaces to promote positive behavioural change i.e., Health District and Sports-in-Precinct spaces.
• To support an effects-based planning mindset and behaviours within the division to guide operation designs and planning and demonstrate impact through evidence-based measurements.
• To support development of core capabilities within external stakeholders to advance sport, health and wellness
• To support development of long term capabilities for Active Health business needs through digital and smart innovation projects.
What we are looking for
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• At least 8 years of proven experience and/or track record in relevant areas, e.g. Sport Science Management, Project Management, Stakeholder Management
• Strong familiarity with strategic planning and budgeting cycles
• Knowledge and experience in statistical analysis (e.g. R software) and data visualisation (e.g. Tableau)
• Knowledge and experience in programme evaluation
• Critical thinking skills and analytical ability to exercise independent judgement
• Pro-active self-starter with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact professional with diverse group of both management and operations staff
• Comfortable with handling numbers and dashboards for reporting with a keen eye for details
• Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Resourceful and able to work in a face-paced and dynamic environment
• Commitment to professional and personal growth and challenges
• High level of professionalism and integrity
• Love and enjoy sports and adopt health-promoting habits
The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a fixed term contract.
