What the role is

We’re hiring a marketeer to join NYP’s Communication & Outreach Department.

You will play a pivotal role in executing integrated marketing campaigns that elevate NYP’s brand presence across both the Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education & Training (CET) markets. Your focus will be on engaging students and their parents (PET), as well as reaching out to adult learners seeking upskilling opportunities (CET).

You will be responsible for developing impactful content, collaborating on creative assets that enhance storytelling, and leveraging data insights to drive engagement and improve campaign performance.

What you will be working on

  • Plan, execute, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline platforms to enhance brand visibility and position NYP as the polytechnic of choice. Manage campaign budgets and deliver post-campaign performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Create compelling content for diverse platforms including print collateral, digital ads, online articles, eDMs, and Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising. Ensure all messaging is consistent, relevant, and aligned with NYP’s brand voice.
  • Collaborate with designers to conceptualise and develop visually compelling assets. Maintain cohesive storytelling and brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Implement data tracking and set performance metrics to monitor campaign outcomes. Conduct research and analyse audience data to uncover insights, identify trends, and inform future marketing strategies.
  • Support on any other projects as assigned.

What we are looking for

  • Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
  • At least 3 to 4 years of proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong track record in content creation across various formats including marketing collateral, digital advertising, social media and eDMs.

Knowledge:

  • Flair for writing with the ability to craft engaging content across multiple platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) principles and experience using tools such as Google Analytics to guide content strategy and measure performance.
  • Good grasp of creative strategy, with the ability to align messaging with visual storytelling to enhance campaign impact and brand resonance.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology (MarTech) platforms and tools is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in graphic design or visual editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) is a plus.
