What you will be working on

Under this internship programme, you will be attached to the Centre of Excellence for Civil and Structural Design & Research in HDB’s Building & Research Institute. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to participate in the study on Slope Monitoring Technologies and Road Surfacing Systems. Your job scope includes the following: • Surveying site conditions • Managing the research development of these initiatives • Monitoring and tracking the KPIs and milestones reached • Conducting seepage and slope stability analysis • Refining workflow and optimising code on open-source software for improved efficiency • Creating advanced visualizations and conducting meta-analysis of technical results • Carrying out cost-benefit analysis on the project implementation • Researching on improvements that can be made on the technology • Any other tasks assigned You may also be tasked to assist in other initiatives and projects with HDB.

What we are looking for

Internship period: 8 Dec 2025 - 9 Jan 2026 Preferred discipline: Civil Engineering Remarks: Knowledge of Python and Geographic Information System (GIS) software such as ArcGIS or QGIS is a plus
