The Senior Manager/Principal Manager, Corporate Communications & Service Quality will be the deputy deskhead for the Health Products Regulatory Group of Health Sciences Authority. The ideal candidate must be able to handle complex media issues, develop communication and publicity plans, create content, and oversee and manage key projects for the Corporate Communications & Service Quality division.

What the role is
What you will be working on
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive communications strategies and publicity plans for the organisation's key initiatives, policy announcements and milestones, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and stakeholder needs
- Manage media relations and media enquiries, draft press releases, media statements, talking points, and organise press conferences and facilitate media interviews
- Oversee the conceptualisation, creation and distribution of high-quality content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and corporate publications, whilst ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice
- Direct crisis communications efforts by developing response frameworks, preparing holding statements, and advising senior management on communications approaches
- Analyse media coverage, social media metrics, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of communications campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations for strategy refinement
- Oversee the timely dissemination of daily news to internal stakeholders, including vendor management and vetting of media reports and summaries
- Handle execution of key projects and vendor management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media representatives, industry partners, government agencies, and internal departments to facilitate effective communication channels
- Provide strategic counsel to senior management on public relations opportunities, reputation management and potential communications risks
What we are looking for
- Strong background with the relevant qualifications in mass communications.
- Experience in social media an advantage
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate communication functions, such as media and issue management, media monitoring & analysis, crisis communications, content creation and project & vendor management.
