Assistant Director, Digital Strategy
What the role is
What you will be working on
1. Understand the sector’s ambitions, strengths, needs, limitations and challenges
2. Provide guidance and support for implementation projects. Give timely advice, facilitate overcoming obstacles and bridging gaps
3. Lead conversations with vendors and partners at the project level
4. Plan, organize and oversee the tactical approach in implementing the sector digital strategy
5. Keep abreast of the sector wide plans that impact the digital strategy and transformation initiatives. Lead the team in pivoting as needed.
6. Manage the communications and partnership matters for the team
7. Monitor progress of the projects, collect and sense-make data for reporting and presentations
8. Support team’s professional development though coaching, training and other learning opportunities
9. Watch over the budget utilization for the projects

- Ability to manage partnerships and carry out strategic workplans to meet outcomes
Experience & Special Certification(s):
Experience: At least 11-15 years’ work experience, preferably in a tech or innovation related role with team leadership experience.
Special Certification : Project Management; Agile methodology; AI-related
