What the role is

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS CONTRACT COMPLIANCE & SYSTEMS

What you will be working on

You will be part of the team managing the development and operations of systems supporting the bus service contracts operated by the Public Transport Operators under the Bus Contracting Model (BCM).

You will also be part of the team performing mileage claims compliance audits and mileage verification/appeals for the bus service contracts. You are required to participate in the review of improvements and process automation to enhance the management of the bus service contracts and mileage claims compliance audits.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing digitalisation projects such as RPA deployments, AI model integration, analytics solutions, and new system implementations.
  • Support requirement gathering, solution design, vendor evaluations, and implementation processes, and ensure BCM contract requirements in the areas of mileage verification/appeals, mileage audit and contract management processes are incorporated.
  • Conduct tests on new system/tool or changes/updates made to current systems and assess operation impact before implementation.
  • Support change management and communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support BCM compliance team in performing mileage claims audits, conducting periodic review to streamline and/or automate the mileage claims audit processes.
  • Perform data analysis on bus services and mileage information to explore further digitalisation of processes, development of dashboards, etc.
  • Participate in the review of improvements or process automation to enhance the monitoring of Public Transport Operators’ performance and management of BCM contracts.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer and higher Management.

What we are looking for

  • Preferably knowledge in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field
  • At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in managing or supporting digital transformation projects involving RPA, AI, data analytics and/or system implementation
  • Strong written, communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong interest in driving business change using technology and data
  • Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python) will be an advantage
