What you will be working on
You will enable Singapore’s social service sector to achieve better outcomes by developing policies and plans that:
· Encourage greater community support for social service agencies and social enterprises, e.g. through philanthropy, social impact investing, and volunteerism;
· Strengthen the capabilities of social service agencies so that they can enhance service delivery and improve service outcomes, e.g. through technology adoption;
· Safeguard the interests, safety, and well-being of individuals accessing social services; and
· Establish and maintain strategic partnerships between the Government, businesses, community groups, and individuals to advance the interests of the social service sector.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an individual who can:
· Think clearly and critically;
· Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
· Rally diverse stakeholders together around a common goal; and
· Take initiative, ownership of, and accountability for, their work.
Prior experience and a strong interest in social issues, social sustainability, social impact investing, and / or public policy would be advantageous.
