What you will be working on

[What you will be doing]

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and student consultations, including supervision of lab work and projects for both full-time and part-time students.
  • Enhance lesson design and delivery through effective teaching strategies, including e-learning and self-directed learning.
  • Integrate IT tools and resources to support teaching and learning (where applicable).
  • Review and improve curriculum design, delivery, and assessment to ensure effectiveness.
  • Prepare course materials, including assignments, assessments, and moderation of results.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and educational developments through active engagement with professional communities.
  • Address diverse student learning needs and support holistic development through targeted interventions.
  • Participate in subject reviews and team meetings.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate student attendance records.
  • Collaborate on staff and student projects with industry partners.
  • Supervise and support students in the Student Internship Programme (SIP).
  • Oversee and manage student participation in local and overseas study trips.

What we are looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in any discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the aviation industry
  • Proficient in teaching at least two of the following areas:
    • Airside Operations and Management
    • Airport Operations and Management
    • Air Traffic Management
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about teaching and engaging with students

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
