What you will be working on
Reporting to a team lead of Regulations Division, you will play a key role in the Sector Lead Office in the Division. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the lay of the land, identify the cybersecurity services essential for national security and national survival, and the firms/agencies, critical infrastructure and resources required for the continuous provision of cybersecurity essential services.
• Assess and work with stakeholders to draft and review new regulations, policies, guidelines and standards under the cybersecurity essential services framework
• Develop frameworks, Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for firms providing essential services to ensure their resiliency and preparedness in all situations, including during national emergency.
• Develop crisis resource plans on cybersecurity essential services and work with all the Sector Leads to develop their plans for their sectors.
• Coordinate the responses related to cybersecurity essential services of Sector Leads and essential/critical firms in a coherent manner during crisis and national emergency
• Raise awareness and train the sectors on the implementation of measures to ensure their adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency.
What we are looking for
Requirements
• Preferably 4 years of working experience in regulatory and/or compliance roles
• Good understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem and the importance of cybersecurity essential services to safeguard Singapore’s cyberspace
• Experience in operational enforcement, policy development, in the cybersecurity domain or in another essential service sector will be an added advantage
• Experience in developing crisis preparedness plans
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills
• Good interpersonal and people management skills, ability to engage and influence stakeholders, align interests and build partnerships
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
