What the role is

The goal of Family Life Group (FLG) is to nurture a family-friendly society by strengthening family resilience through all stages of life, and to support families to overcome early risks and challenges to family relationships. The Operations Planning & Transformation (OPT) Division is responsible for developing the overall operational plans to strengthen and support family through all stages of life. It also oversees transformation, data and digitalisation, capability development and engagement strategies for FLG.

What you will be working on

Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will be part of the Family Data and Analytics (FDA) Branch that oversees Product and Operations. You are to ensure the timely delivery of Family Status Repository (FSR) 2.0 data products and its enhancement thereafter. You are to be involved in the data product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, and to continuously improve to meet customer needs. You are to manage multiple features within an epic, ensuring they are developed and shipped according to the released timeline. You will be responsible for maintaining the business logic, so that accurate information is delivered to our customers. Your stakeholders are government agencies, IT division, development team, internal and external counterparts. You will be working with the team on the following: • Manage the development lifecycle of FSR 2.0 system • Ensure user stories are detailed, properly groomed and acceptance criteria defined through continuous collaboration with product owners • Supports and participates in the agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, monitoring of sprint velocity and delivery metrics • Manages the product backlog and align with business owners on prioritisation • Drive operational and technical alignment through regular stakeholders’ engagement and feedback sessions • Provide timely product progress through structured reporting and timely escalation of blockers or risks • Ensure product deliverables met defined acceptance criteria and quality standards • Provide operations support for data management activities including validating the accuracy of derived family relationships, and reviewing the underlying derivation logic • Assist in investigating data issues, identifying solutions, implementing exception handling rules and rectifying retrospective records where required

What we are looking for

• Academic background in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline • 3 to 5 years of experience in product management roles • Strong writing abilities to create product documentation and user stories • Experienced in presenting compelling product demos • Team player who can engage with various levels of stakeholders • Able to conceptualise quickly, multi-task and work under pressure • Experienced in applying Agile methodology and Scrum framework • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira) is preferred The office location is at Bishan.
