What the role is
What you will be working on
You will support the procurement functions in NEA by carrying out the following activities:
- Review tender/ quotation documents and evaluation reports to ensure that they are drafted in compliance with Instruction Manual (IM) (Procurement), Statutory requirements, BCA’s procurement guidelines, as well as NEA’s internal procurement policy and guidelines, whilst ensuring value for money, fairness and transparency
- Review post-award contract documents to ensure proper contract management and governance
- Engage with and provide procurement advice to users on their daily procurement needs as a procurement business partner, based on the procurement rules and guidelines
- Improve outreach, conduct training and facilitate dialogue among the procurement community in NEA
- Undertake studies of supply markets and proactively source and engage suppliers
What we are looking for
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in government procurement in the construction and building, facilities management sector, and familiar with Instruction Manual (IM) on Procurement, GeBIZ system and GeBIZ Management Console (GMC).
