Executive IT Audit Manager (1-year contract)

What the role is

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore’s planning authority. Our mission is to make Singapore a great city to live, work and play. We plan and facilitate the physical development of Singapore, in partnership with agencies and the community, to create a vibrant, sustainable and cosmopolitan city of distinction. Join our dynamic Internal Audit team as an IT Auditor, where you will contribute to URA's IT risk management and governance. This role offers an opportunity to participate in IT audits across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and emerging risk areas. You will also work with the business audit team to conduct integrated audits that provide insights into both IT and operational risks. Note that this is a 1-year contract role.

What you will be working on

• Execute IT audits across various technological domains including cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications under supervision • Conduct technical assessments of IT controls, security configurations, and system implementations • Perform data analytics to identify potential control gaps and process improvements • Design and implement continuous monitoring of IT risks • Evaluate emerging technology risks and provide recommendations for control enhancements • Prepare draft audit reports, working papers, and management reporting • Contribute to the development of the IT audit methodology and work programs • Partner with business units to implement audit recommendations and strengthen controls • Participate in projects related to IT governance and compliance initiatives

What we are looking for

Key Competencies: • Understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) • Familiarity with IT risk assessment methodologies • Knowledge of IT general controls (ITGC) and application controls testing • Experience with data analytics tools and basic scripting (ACL, Power BI, Python) preferred • Ability to identify and communicate technical findings as business risks • Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail • Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies • Collaborative team player • Self-motivated with ability to work independently Professional approach to stakeholder interactions Join us in this multifaceted role that offers professional growth, exposure to transformation initiatives, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on Singapore's urban development.
