What the role is
What you will be working on
Your duties include dealing with complaints/ investigations against estate agents and salespersons and conducting compliance blitz, inspections, and field surveillances to enforce against non-compliance with the Estate Agents Act and its Regulations.
You will assist in planning the conduct of inspections, field surveillances and blitzes, and lead in the execution of the operations. You are required to prepare reports and recommend appropriate enforcement actions to be taken against any non-compliance, e.g. prosecution, disciplinary inquiry. You are also required to analyse data, make presentations at Management meetings, propose improvements to work processes and take on organisation-wide projects.
Other ad-hoc tasks may also be assigned to you from time to time.
What we are looking for
• A degree in any discipline
• Strong investigative and analytical skills
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in enforcement, inspection work or field surveillances. Familiarity with the real estate agency industry will be an advantage.
• Able to work well with numbers and data sets
• Good writing and communication skills
• Meticulous in planning
• Able to plan and organise, and work effectively both independently and in team
