What the role is

What you will be working on

  • Strategise, Conceptualise and Implement Marketing & Communications Plans

  • Assists Deputy General Manager and Assistant Director in formulating, implementing and reviewing marketing and communication plans for the CDC to achieve our key thrusts and goals.

  • Supervises and guides staff in branding, publicity and media matters. This includes the development and implementation of creative, practical and strategic communications plan, editorial concepts for newsletters, and other forms of publicity across integrated communications platforms.

  • Supervises and guides staff in project management including the development and implementation of creative, practical and strategic marketing plans, concepts and toolkits for engagement of stakeholders and residents.

  • Monitors, tracks and analyses news/trends which may directly affect CDC and recommend appropriate responses.

  • Crafting of proposal papers, marketing strategies for stakeholder and residents’ engagement. 

  • Manages and responds to external feedback received by members of the public and stakeholders on a daily basis.

  • Responsible for managing all media inquiries and overseeing the organisation's overall media relations strategy.

  • Ensure and manage proper budgeting and expenditure to realise optimal and appropriate utilisation of resources.

  • Leadership and Training

  • Lead, guide and build capabilities of team members. 

  • Oversees staff development which includes identifying training needs, coaching and assessing staff performance.

  • Other Duties

  • To work with the Assistant Director and Deputy General Manager to achieve CS CDC wide initiatives and outcomes.

  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Supervisors.
