
[LTA-IDE] EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, DEVELOPMENT & BUILDING CONTROL (RAIL/CIVIL)

What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of professional team regulating engineering works and development/building proposals within the railway protection zones/railway corridors.
You are required to conduct site inspections to ensure such works are prepared and executed in accordance with the approved plans and prevailing technical requirements.
You will also be involved in review of engineering risk assessment and analysis, method of construction as well as geotechnical and structural instrumentation data.
You are required to work with developers, their architectural and engineering consultants and builders. You will also co-ordinate and liaise with LTA architects, planners and engineers on projects within the railway protection zone/railway corridor.
What we are looking for
• Knowledge in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Preferably with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and supervision of construction works although candidates without experience would be considered
• Resourceful, analytical, able to thrive in a demanding work environment.
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Team player, self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Possess initiative and keen interest to develop professional skill set.
