• Monitor and control plant and equipment maintenance to ensure operation parameters for treatment process are always maintained within standards and specifications
• Analyse operations data and water quality data to implement measures to enhance NEWater Factory operations processes and water quality
• Diagnose process abnormalities (identify water quality deviations, identify causes of process changes, detect equipment/instrument faults etc.) and carry out proper procedures/measures to rectify them
• Present water quality data regularly at divisional and department levels and to internal and external audit panels pertaining to operations, process and water quality
• Prepare, call and evaluate tenders pertaining to NEWater Factory operations & maintenance works
• Manage term maintenance and chemical contract utilisation to achieve objectives efficiently, timely and within budget
• Prepare plant's OPEX budget and forecast, and ensure the expenditure is as scheduled and within projection
