What the role is
What you will be working on
• Understand requirements and automate finance processes using digital tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Perform data cleaning, pre-processing, build relevant models and algorithms to perform meaningful financial analysis.
• Design and implement data visualisation dashboards to support decision making
• Respond to ad hoc data requests and present accurate information to stakeholders timely
• Maintain and optimize existing automation and analytics scripts to ensure performance as intended and align with changing business and technical requirements
• Troubleshoot script issues and implement improvements as needed
• Carry out ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned
What we are looking for
• Background in data science/analytics, statistics, or other relevant professional qualifications
• Proficient in the use of open-source analytic tools (e.g. Python), visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
• A proactive attitude that takes ownership of the work given and can respond flexibly to changing situations or requirements
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to connect with stakeholders
• A team player with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
