The role involves designing, developing, and delivering curriculum for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) in Mechanical Design, CAD/CAM, CNC Programming and Machining, including EDM and Wirecut processes, as well as mentoring students in academic, project, and career development, handling lesson planning, assessment, and student engagement, and supporting school administrative tasks as needed. Candidates should hold a relevant degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, have at least three years of industry experience, and possess expertise in areas such as mechanical design with CAD software, CAD/CAM applications, CAM programming and machining for milling or turning, toolroom techniques including CNC EDM and Wirecut, high-speed machining, or CNC multi-tasking.

What the role is
What you will be working on
- Design, develop, and deliver curriculum for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) in areas such as Mechanical Design, CAD/CAM, CNC Programming and Machining, including CNC EDM and Wirecut processes.
- Guide and mentor learners through academic, project, and career development, including supervision of student projects.
- Undertake academic-related responsibilities such as lesson planning, assessment, project supervision, and student engagement.
- Support School’s administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
What we are looking for
- Relevant degree qualifications in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in the Manufacturing or Precision Engineering sector.
- Candidate should possess relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Mechanical Design using CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX)
- CAD/CAM applications (e.g., Siemens NX / Unigraphics)
- CAM Programming and Machining for 3-axis / 5-axis Milling or Turning
- Toolroom machining techniques including CNC EDM and Wirecut
- CNC High-Speed Machining
- CNC Multi-tasking (Turn/Mill)
Preferably:
- Experience in the application of IoT in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with AI-based solutions and their implementation within engineering or manufacturing contexts.
- Good to have knowledge of additive manufacturing processes, materials, and post-processing methods.
